There are many indicators that can monitor and evaluate a KM intervention. There are indicators that:

    • Measure a KM process - for example,  knowledge assessment and knowledge sharing.
    • Measure outputs of reach and engagement - for example, primary dissemination and referrals. 
    • Measure the usefulness of outputs - for example, user satisfaction. 
    • Measure initial outcomes - for example, around learning (awareness) and action (decision-making).
